A New Purchase.

So yesterday, i purchased the september issue of teen vogue, with Anne Hathaway on the cover. and my first thought when i flipped throught the pages was how many celebs were in ads. Pete Wentz ( sorry if thats the wrong spelling) was in DKNY Jeans, Scarlett Johansson in LV, Mischa Barton in Keds, Rhianna in Covergirl (wetslicks)[by the way i never saw how wet-slicks was an attractive name for a product.] Fergie in Candies, Emma Roberts in D&B, Vanessa Minnillo in Bongo, and the list goes on. soon, who knows maybe the print models of the world will be out of business... i kinda doubt it but still.

the second thing i noticed was the marc jacob ads, i always thought they were weird, and even though i still agree with that previous thought, i now find them different, eye catching, and mature. like a picture thats happy jsut being a picture, but when u actually look at it its something beautiful.. now i have no idea, how my mind wanders the way it does.

a third thing i noticed, was in the A-Z fall fashion guide, that vera wang is coming out with a new line that is affordable for people other than the insanely rich envied by me. the "article" i guess you could call it is under "V" duh, for Vera Wang, and it has a few pictures of things from the line, that is by the way called, "Simply Vera Vera Wang" [me having a blonde moment though i am not blonde at first thought that the line was called simply,"vera vera wang" but as i read, i found myself corrected. ha] Also, i found that the line will be avaliable at Kohls, which, i am quite excited that i live by one, and you can get clothing, shoes, and accesories that are mostly based on her high end line.

TV show guilty pleasures.

The Hills premieres tomorrow, and i guess you could consider it a fashion show... well maybe not so much, but im pretty much a sucker for shows like the hills and laguna beach.. im even gonna watch Newport Harbour,( even when i know well it probably wont be that great.) i find whenever tv stations try and carry the show on, they should just let it go ... like the o.c. , in my opinion it was great up until the 4th season.. (i started watching it and then gave up. ) and its not that i stopped watching it because marrissa died, but because... well to tell you the truth i really didnt like taylor, but that wasnt the only reason, in the 4th season, it was all lovey dovey problems, and dont get me wrong, its kinda entertaining to look into someone elses love problems for once, but the way i look at it , Fox, should have ended the show before it completely died out. but back to the first topic, i cannot wait for the hills, i guess im slightly addicted to watching other people with their problems, and seeing how they deal with it, in ways i feel like i can relate[yes i know, even thought the tv ppl pick and choose the clips to make things seem better or worse than they are, but still. i cant wait !! woo. ] Oh one last thing..

Question: Team Lauren or Team Heidi ??

Me personally? IM ALL LAUREN. i think, like quite a few people, that spencers a player and heidi should wakeup and smell the stinkweeds[you might not want to ask]

2 fashion "rules" many fashionista live by

1) Never wear all the same brand.

[i agree. although i do it time to time, i find that my best outfits are the ones that i have many different brands mixed together. Sometimes i find that all one brand make an outfit look put together, other times it doesnt. i guess i like the threw on, rushed but still looks amazing look.]

2) Never wear the same outfit twice.

[For celebs, who are photographed all the time, i can see why they dont want to look like they have 10 outfits and that they just re wear them all the time. but for well, people like me that arnt the rich and lucky in the world and cant afford a new everything 3 times a week ( i wish i could afford that) its hard not to want to wear a really cute outfit again, so yes i do wear some outfits over. but i try not to. im NOT saying its bad if u do, im the aspiring fashionista.. and maybe its me taking this "aspiration" the wrong way. ]
